The Eastern Region Secretariat announced earlier its intention to establish several investment projects in the walled area, including the “public benefit market, heritage shops, heritage area, cultural center, public library, gymnasium, cafeterias, restaurants and halls. There will also be events for men and women, in addition to the establishment of a commercial complex, investment buildings, and a women’s club.”

A number of kindergartens and ample parking spaces are also planned to boost the amenities and comforts of the residents.
