Yemeni army enters district of Abes in the province of Hajjah

The coalition-backed Yemeni army has regained the first districts Hajjah after entering Abes on Tuesday.

The Head of the Guidance Division in the Fifth Military Region, Col. Mohammed Salem Al-Khulani, said that the army was able to liberate the village of Habal, the first village of Abes district adjacent to the Hiran and Midi provinces.

Khulani added that the fighting was still ongoing and that the army continued its incursion into the Hiran and Abes districts, as the teams began the process of extracting the landmines planted by the Houthi militias before they fled.

The military source also pointed out that the continuous fighting and raids by coalition fighters resulted in significant human and material losses among the Houthi militias.
