WATCH: Qatari pilgrims arrive at Jeddah International airport via Kuwait

A new batch of Qatari pilgrims arrived on Sunday at Jeddah International Airport coming via Kuwait.

Al Arabiya correspondent who was at the arrival terminal said that the Qatari pilgrims asked not to be filmed, probably not to be questioned by their government when they return back to Doha.

The registered Qatari pilgrims so far has reached 500 pilgrims, with an expected rise in the number on Arafat Day especially that admission is still open.


According to Al Arabiya correspondent who did interview most of the Qatari pilgrims that they have registered for Hajj in Kuwait and not in Qatar.

The pilgrims were cautious in their answers in front of the camera.

On Thursday when the first batch of Qatari pilgrims arrived, Mohammed Saleh bin Taher Benten, Minister of Hajj and Umrah renewed the kingdom’s warm welcome for the Qatari pilgrims, pointing to king Salman Bin Abdulaziz directive of providing a warm welcome for the Qatari pilgrims coming from any part of the world.
