Pakistan PM Imran Khan set to visit Saudi Arabia in first foreign visit

Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan is set to visit Saudi Arabia in his first official foreign visit on Tuesday since taking office.

Pakistani Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi confirmed that Khan would visit Saudi Arabia on Tuesday where he will meet with Saudi leadership during his one-day visit.

According to the sources, the Pakistani premier will be visiting Mecca to perform Umrah and is expected to visit the Prophet’s Mosque as well.

Qureshi said that relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia were historically rooted and that Islamabad seeks to deepen the ties further.
