Coronavirus: Kuwait announces seven new recoveries, total recovered cases now 80

Seven people in Kuwait have recovered from the deadly coronavirus, bringing the total number of recoveries in the country to 80, the Minister of Health Basel al-Sabah announced on Wednesday.

The total number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Kuwait rose to 289 on Wednesday, after 23 new cases were reported.

Kuwait has ramped up its efforts to curb the spread of the lethal virus by imposing a 11-hour curfew and suspending all flights indefinitely.
