Three rockets were fired into Israel on Monday from the Gaza Strip but caused no causalities, the Israeli army said in a statement reported by Agence France-Presse.

The statement said the projectiles fell in the Negev desert region of southern Israel.

The attack came during a public holiday in Israel marking the last day of the Jewish festival of Passover.
