Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Nayef on Wednesday tasked a national charity to take care of an ill Syrian woman.

According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the woman, who lives in Jordan’s Zaatari refugee camp, was taken to a hospital and treated after her health deteriorated.

Badr bin Abdul Rahman al-Samhan, the regional director of the Saudi National Campaign to Support Brothers in Syria, said that the woman underwent a cardiac surgery which was entirely paid by the organization.

Al-Samhan added that the woman thanked the Saudi King as well as the deputy crown prince for the gesture.
Last week, the crown prince was tasked with running the affairs of the kingdom during the absence of King Salman – who is currently in France.
