Israel approves more than 1,900 new settler homes: NGO

Israel has approved the construction of 1,936 new settler homes on occupied Palestinian territories, watchdog Peace Now said on Monday.

The green light for the constructions was given on Sunday and Monday, according to Peace Now, which has said that settlement building has increased under Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
