Coronavirus: Lebanon records second death, total infections now 61

A second person died of coronavirus in Lebanon, the health ministry said in a statement on Wednesday.

The man who died is in his 60s and had a preexisting condition, according to NNA.

The country also recorded eight new coronavirus cases, bringing the total to 61, according to the health ministry.

In an age breakdown, the ministry said 11 percent of those infected are under the age of 20, 77 percent fall between the ages of 20 to 59 and 10 percent are 60 years and older.
