Health ministry employee in Lebanon tests positive for coronavirus

A Lebanese employee at the prevention department of the ministry of health has tested positive for coronavirus, bringing the number of confirmed cases in the country to 77.

The employee got the infection from her brother-in-law, according to local media, which did not trace the infection further.

The country has so far recorded three deaths as a result of the COVID-

The Lebanese Minister of Public Health Hamad Hassan said that eight government hospitals have been equipped to increase the capacity to deal with additional cases.

Many restaurants, cafes, shopping malls, and shops across the country shut their doors to customers on Thursday.
