Obama speaks to Turkey’s Erdogan, White House says

U.S. President Barack Obama spoke on Tuesday to Turkey’s Tayyip Erdogan, the prime minister who on Sunday became his country’s first directly elected head of state, the White House said.

Further details of the call will be provided later, a White House spokesman said.
