Around 78 percent of Saudi job seekers who have registered their names in the Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF) do not have any work experience, according to a report issued by the HRDF.

Some 37 percent of them listed their highest academic qualification as high school diploma, the report said, adding that five percent of the job seekers who have lower qualifications may not find work within the next five years.

Only 22 percent of job seekers hold a university degree. Currently, there are 602,853 young jobless men and 358,870 young jobless women registered with the HRDF.
