Yemen LNG to temporarily shut one production line

Yemen LNG plans to shut one of its two production lines, Train 1, for 10 days of maintenance in September, the company said on Tuesday.

“Yemen LNG confirms that a planned shutdown of one Train (Train 1) is scheduled for September 2014 for maintenance,” the company said in a statement. “The maintenance shutdown of Train 1 is expected to last about 10 days.”

Yemen LNG’s two trains have a combined capacity to produce 6.7 million tons a year of liquefied natural gas, with most of it exported to Asia.
