Libya’s Hariga oil port will halt crude exports for around 10 days to make repairs to a damaged pipeline linking it with the Sarir oil field, an oil official said on Sunday.

The pipeline was damaged by a blast a week ago.

“The repair will last 10 days,” the official said, asking not to be identified.

The eastern port had been exporting oil from storage tanks after the pipeline blast but the remaining oil there is to be used for domestic refinery use, the official said.
