Kuwait Oil Company announces emergency after oil leak

Kuwait Oil Company has announced a state of emergency following an oil leak in the southwest of the country on Sunday, the company’s spokesman said.

Menahi Al-Enezi said no reading of toxic gas was detected and that teams were at the scene of the leak.

Eastern Saudi beaches were not affected by the leak, according to an official statement.
