Saudi energy minister: Ongoing talks to reduce OPEC production in 2019

Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Energy, Industry and Mineral Resources, Khalid al-Falih, said on Saturday that there are ongoing talks about an agreement to reduce OPEC productions in the start of 2019.

According to Al Arabiya News Channel, the minister said that they are looking into establishing a permanent mechanism which would include producers inside and outside of OPEC.

The minister also said that the decision on reducing the restraints on OPEC oil production will be taken at the start of 2019.
