Coronavirus: Kuwait confirms 70.1 pct of its 34,432 cases have recovered

Kuwait has confirmed that 70.1 percent of its 34,432 total coronavirus cases have recovered, according to a health ministry spokesman.

The ministry recorded 849 new recoveries over the past hours while it detected 609 new cases after conducting 2,771 screenings.

The Kingdom has so far confirmed 34,432 total cases; however, 10,016 active cases remain.

The spokesman said the number of recoveries continues to exceed the number of active cases in Kuwait.
