Coronavirus: Oman records 896 new cases, 505 detected in non-Omani expats

Oman recorded 896 new coronavirus cases, 505 of which were detected in non-Omani expatriates, raising the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 28,566, the Ministry of Health said on Saturday.

The other 391 cases were detected in Omani citizens.

Three people died of COVID-19 in Oman on Saturday, brining the virus-related death toll to 128.

Meanwhile, 806 people recovered. The total number of recoveries in the country is now 14,780.
