Coronavirus: Oman detects 1,361 new COVID-19 cases as death toll rises to 188

Oman detected 1,361 new coronavirus cases, raising the total number of confirmed COVID19 cases in the country to 42,555, the Ministry of Health announced on Thursday.

A total of 1,156 people recovered from the virus in the last 24 hours, which brings the total number of recoveries in the country to 25,318.

The ministry said that the coronavirus death toll rose to 188 on Thursday.

Everyone must wear a mask and adhere to precautionary measures to curb the COVID-19 outbreak, the ministry said.
