Coronavirus: UAE confirms 239 new COVID-19 cases as recoveries reach 54,615

The United Arab Emirates has confirmed 239 new coronavirus cases over the past 24 hours, raising the total to 60,999 as the recoveries reached 54,615 on Sunday, the government announced on Twitter.

Health authorities carried out an additional 42,428 tests as part of the country’s efforts in expanding its testing capacity.

The government also announced that 360 individuals have recovered after receiving treatment.

No new deaths were reported over the past 24 hours, keeping the death toll at 351.
