Coronavirus: UAE conducts 72,630 tests, finds 246 COVID-19 cases, no new deaths

The United Arab Emirates conducted 72,630 coronavirus tests over the last 24 hours, discovering 246 new cases, health officials announced on Wednesday.

The number of new cases is broadly in line with recent daily increases, following 262 new recorded cases on Thursday.

There were no new deaths from the virus, added the Ministry of Health, meaning the death toll remained at 358.

A further 232 people recovered from the virus, bringing the total number of recovered cases to 57,193.
