Entering Abu Dhabi starting Saturday, September 5 requires either a negative COVID-19 PCR test result or a negative DPI laser test result, not both, the emirate’s media office announced on Friday.

Abu Dhabi first shut its land border to other emirates on June 2 in an effort to further control the spread of the virus. In July, authorities allowed entry under strict restrictions given individuals showed negative test results in order to be granted entry.
