Coronavirus: Saudi Arabia records 492 COVID-19 cases in 24 hours

Saudi Arabia has recorded 492 new coronavirus cases and 1,060 new recoveries on Monday, the Ministry of Health reported.

58 of the cases recorded were in the city of Mecca, 53 were in Jeddah, and 38 COVID-19 cases were in Medina.

The death toll stood at 4,512 after 27 deaths were reported.

Last week, Saudi Arabia said it will allow certain categories of citizens and residents to exit and re-enter the Kingdom through all land, sea, and air ports starting from September 15, given that all coronavirus-related precautionary measures are followed,
