Coronavirus: Saudi Arabia reports 401 new infections, 466 recoveries, 15 deaths

Saudi Arabia reports 401 new cases of the novel coronavirus, which raises the total number of infections in the Kingdom to 343,774, the Ministry of Health said on Thursday.

Medina recorded the highest number of new cases with 55 infections. The capital Riyadh recorded 39 new cases, Mecca reported 35, and Jeddah reported nine.

The other infections were confirmed in cities and provinces around the Kingdom, according to the ministry.

Fifteen people died due to complications caused by COVID-19, bringing the virus-related death toll to 5,250.

Meanwhile, the total number of recoveries in Saudi Arabia rose to 330,181 after 466 people recovered in the last 24 hours.
