Coronavirus: Saudi Arabia detects 473 COVID-19 cases, 19 deaths

Saudi Arabia on Tuesday detected 473 new coronavirus cases and 19 deaths, bringing the death toll to 5,456, the Ministry of Health announced.

The health ministry also detected 481 new recoveries, bringing the total number of recoveries in the Kingdom to 335,153.

The total number of cases in the country rose to 348,510, of which 7,901 are active cases. There are 749 critical cases.

The city of Medina continues to have the highest daily coronavirus tally with 73 cases reported on Tuesday.

Mecca recorded 45 new COVID-19 cases, while Riyadh had 40 cases.
