Coronavirus: Saudi Arabia reports 426 COVID-19 cases in 24 hours

Saudi Arabia on Wednesday reported 426 new coronavirus cases, bringing the total number of cases to 348,936 in the Kingdom, according to the Ministry of Health.

The country's death toll rose to 5,471 after 15 new deaths were recorded in 24 hours.

The Kingdom also detected 441 new recoveries, bringing the total recoveries to 5,471.

Medina has the highest number of daily COVID-19 cases with 72 reported on Wednesday. Riyadh had 53 new cases, while the city of Yanbu detected 36 cases.

The health ministry said there were 736 critical cases out of the 7,871 active cases in the Kingdom.
