Coronavirus: Saudi Arabia detects less than 400 new cases, 19 deaths

Saudi Arabia detected 319 new cases of the novel coronavirus, which brings the total number of confirmed infections in the Kingdom to 354,527, the Ministry of Health said on Thursday.

The capital Riyadh reported the highest number of new infections with 50 cases. Mecca reported 29, Medina reported 24, and Jeddah reported 20.

Nineteen people died due to complications caused by COVID-19, raising the virus-related death toll in the country to 5,729.

Meanwhile, the total number of recoveries in Saudi Arabia rose to 341, 956 after 441 people recovered.
