Middle East-based “Directioners” are set to be serenaded by One Direction’s infectious pop tunes as the British boy band heads to Dubai in April 2015.

“We are very proud to finally present in concert what has been one of the most requested and in demand bands in recent years,” said Thomas Ovesen, COO of events organizer Done Events.

“The event is destined to become the biggest concert this region has ever seen,” he added.

“It’s certainly within the last 18-24 months the most requested and the most in demand. We started talking to them almost two years back,” Ovensen said during a press conference on Monday.

Ovesen explained that the Dubai show, part of One Direction’s new tour: “The On The Road Again 2015 Tour,” aims to outshine teen pop star Justin Bieber’s first night show in Dubai last May, in which 25,000 Beliebers flocked to the stadium to see the star perform.

Organizers are expecting to sell out the 30,000 seat stadium for the One Direction show.

“It’s the only show in the Middle East, North Africa and subcontinent India,” Oveson told Al Arabyia News, “I think if you have to choose a location in the region where the most people can travel to, it’s obvious to choose Dubai. I don’t think there’s a better place for people to travel to and where people want to go for something like this.”

Ticket sales will go live on Thursday and will be available online on the Done Events website and at all Virgin Megastores in the region.

Ticket prices will range from $68 to $272.
