Egyptian actress Rania Youssef said she was once harassed in a public place but could not catch the molester which pushed her to demand laws that put an end to this phenomenon in Egypt.

Youssef said during a television interview on Saturday that she will never work again with actresses Ghada Abdelrazek and Zeina despite the strong friendship between her and the former, adding that when it comes to work, a conflict will certainly erupt between them.

She recalled what happened while filming the movie Reklam few years ago and said Abdelrazek insisted to delete some of her (Youssef’s) scenes. Youssef added that everyone thinks they’re number one and noted that she doubts Abdelrazek will act differently if they ever work together again.

“I’d be accusing her of treason all the time and she’d be worried of me,” Youssef said.

Regarding the dispute with Zeina, Youssef said it began while filming the series Ard al-Naam, (The Land of the Ostrich), few years ago whom she was its main character. According to Youssef, Zeina insisted to have her name included next to hers in the credits.

Youssef also said that she will never work with actress Nadia al-Jendy for reasons that are “well-known to everyone.”
