VIDEO: Extreme cold weather causes Niagra Falls to freeze

Extreme cold weather has caused parts of the Niagara Falls to freeze on both New York and Ontario sides since Monday (January 1), reports have revealed.

Videos uploaded on social media showed water flowing over the dramatic ice covered falls and snowy landscapes around them.

An arctic air mass will remain entrenched over the eastern two-thirds of the United States through the end of the week, forecasters said.
