Women who wear the hijab - a headscarf worn by some Muslim women - have revealed what it’s really like on an anonymous app called ‘Whisper’.

Whisper, which allows people to post their thoughts on issues anonymously, has been receiving confessions from women who wear the hijab and how they feel about it.

For many the headscarf is worn for religious purposes as a sign of modesty and yet some women have confessed that it has attracted unwanted negative attention.
