After liberation, Somalia still faces food shortages

While the situation in the town is now largely peaceful, the disruption of supply routes into Hudur by Shebab has caused massive food shortages in the town. War-torn Somalia risks sliding back into acute crisis less than three years since a devastating famine, aid agencies warned on May 7, amid failing rains, escalating conflict and aid funding shortfalls.
