Saudi Arabia’s Hajj Ministry received 32 research papers at the 38th annual conference in Makkah, which aims to gather 200 researchers and Islamic scholars worldwide.

About 167 researchers, including 32 women and 135 men, will participate in the three-day conference starting next Tuesday, said Issa bin Muhammad Rawas, deputy hajj minister and conference supervisor.

Rawas said that the event’s theme this year is “Hajj Priorities,” aiming to teach pilgrims of the need to prioritize their religious activities and will discuss the hajj ritual’s instructions as a way to reduce the difficulties that pilgrims may face, such as overcrowding, Rawas added.

He underlined the importance of obeying hajj ritual instructions for the security and comfort of all pilgrims.
