Tunisian football team considers new coach

France native Paul Le Guen is the most recent coach to join the list of potentials for the Tunisian national football team, French media reported according to Al Hayat.

The list already includes French coaches Jacques Santini and Raymond Dominique and German coach Ole Stilleke.

The vetting process is underway to replace the former interm coach, Rudd Krol, who left the position after the team lost against Cameeron’s team for the World Cup 2014 qualifications.

Paul Le Guen is a well-known coach who has won several including the Champions Trophy in 2002, 2003, 2004 and 2005 as well as Champion of France in 2003, 2004 and 2005 with Olympic Lyon. He was also the coach of Paris Saint Germain when it won the League Cup in 2008.

The Tunisian team is currently preparing for the African Nations Championship qualifications set to take place in Morocco starting September 2015.
