Roma star Mohamed Salah donates millions to Egypt, meets Sisi

The 24-year international football star has been one of AS Roma's top performers since he joined the squad from Chelsea. (AA.Net)

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi met on Monday international footballer of Italian club Roma and Egypt’s national team winger Mohamed Salah who donated $269,000 to the Long Live Egypt Fund.

Minister of Youth and Sports Khaled Abdel-Aziz was also present at the meeting where Sisi praised Salah for his donation to Long Live Egypt that was established in 2014 to solicit donations in support of the country’s development.

The 24-year international football star has been one of AS Roma's top performers since he joined the squad from Chelsea in August 2015.
