Bruce Lee’s personal belongings to be auctioned off in U.S.

Martial arts legend Bruce Lee’s personal belongings are set to be auctioned off in Los Angeles on April 29.

Personal items belonging to the Hollywood star will be sold by auctioneer Nate D. Sanders in an auction that is open to online bidders.

Up for sale in the auction is Lee’s personally owned Stirling Cooper London grey cotton jacket, which has been signed by his wife and daughter. “This was one of Bruce’s most favorite jackets! Linda Lee,” his wife wrote inside the jacket. Bidding for the jacket begins at $40,000.

Pairs of Bruce Lee’s personally owned and worn loafers and platform shoes will also be auctioned off, with bidding beginning at $25,000 per pair.

Lee’s Timex wristwatch is also up for sale, starting at $20,000, as is an array of the karate master’s equipment, including his kicking shield, elastic waistband, shield for Jeet Kune Do training, shin protector used in his Jeet Kune Do training, palm beanbag, pull-up bar and shin guard set.

Bruce Lee was born in 1940 in San Francisco to immigrant parents from Hong Kong.

He went on to become a martial artist, instructor, action-figure icon and filmmaker, before his death at the age of 32 in 1973.
