New technology alerts mothers and hospitals if anyone tries to move a newborn baby in Dubai.

The Dubai Health Authority (DHA) helped mothers have one less worry when giving birth because of the technology made that links mothers with their new born and the hospital, Khaleej Times reported.

The technology alerts the mother and the hospital if the newborn is moved without permission, allowing them to keep an eye out for the newborns as much as possible.

DHA came up with this innovation with the motive of ensuring the safety of newborns in Dubai and specifically in Latifa Hospital, Khaleej Times reported.

This is said to be one part of the two state-of-the art technologies executed by the DHA.

The second part is said to alert the mother and the employees in the hospital if the oxygen levels in the child’s blood drops below the normal rate.

The authority aims to enable hospitals, health centers and clinics to provide the best services by providing them with the latest smart technologies, Humaid Al Qatami, Chairman of the Board and Director General of the DHA to Khaleej Times.
