An Australian TV reporter is a cat with nine lives no doubt after she miraculously dodged an exploding Coke bottle rocket on live TV during a wacky science experiment.

The Studio 10 reporter alongside her colleague were shooting an on-air science experiment with physics teacher Jacob Streakling.

The at first thought harmless demonstration served to show how a coke rocket can be made. Though the ingredients were common things you find in a house hold, this is an activity which you might not want to try at home.

With the experiment ready for launch, the soda rocket was active and blasted towards the sky with a massive force missing the reporter’s face ever so slightly.
