VIDEO: Bed-ridden Pakistani boy runs family food business

Abdul Moeed is a miracle boy in more ways than one. He was diagnosed with a muscular dystrophy disease that results in increasing weakening and breakdown of skeletal muscles over time.

Abdul Moeed was eventually unable to walk by age 7 and by age 10 he started using a wheel chair. Growing up, he excelled in his studies and completed intermediate from university.

In 2010 Abdul Moeed had a major breakdown which got him on ventilator throughout day and night.

Food delivery service

Years of struggle made him feel better and hence began a journey to become successful like any other aspiring youth.

Abdul Moeed came up with the idea of opening Rasoi, a homemade food delivery service. Currently he has a team of people who prepare food at his home and delivery boys who deliver orders.

Most orders are taken through Rasoi’s online page and phone calls. Abdul Moeed has not looked back since continues to be an inspiration for people with disabilities.
