VIDEO: A glimpse of the first-ever butterfly house of Pakistan


Lahore is home to the first ever butterfly house of Pakistan, serving as a source of education and entertainment for the common people.

It consists of 3,000 different species of butterflies collected from different cities and some even brought from abroad. The project cost 70 million in Pakistani rupees and it compromises of the butterfly tunnel, waterfalls, a running stream.

The house also has larva collection, rearing chamber, souvenir shop and an aquarium. The temperature is kept 25-35 centigrade in every season for the butterflies to survive.
