In this second of a series of special Diplomatic Avenue episodes during the U.N. General Assembly, Al Arabiya News Channel’s bureau chief in New York Talal al-Haj conducts two interviews with Lebanese Prime Minister Tammam Salam and Robert C. Orr, the U.N. assistant secretary-general for policy coordination and strategic planning. Salam talks about Beirut’s role in fighting terrorism, while Orr, who is also the organizer of the climate change summit currently taking place in New York, talks about a new plan to be discussed at the summit as well as ways of curbing emissions.
