Meet Elie Hatem: The politician who wants a king for France
Friday, 12 February 2016
This week’s guest is Elie Hatem, political adviser to the founder of the extremist “National Front” party in France, Jean-Marie Le Pen who answered many questions, mainly: Did the party leader Marine Le Pen, who followed her father as the leader of the “front”, succeed in polishing her image and change the racism and anti-Islam and immigrants label? Who are the French people? Do the French of Moroccan origins need to relinquish their religious and social values in order to adhere to the French society? Will Marine Le Pen maintain her intention to differentiate between religion and state, in light of her niece’s statement, Marion Marshal Le Pen, who said that “Islam does not rise to the level of Catholicism in France?” Can the attacks of November 13th in France be considered as a gift for the party to intimidate the French immigrants and Islam?
