Bahraini Deputy talking about a meeting with the armed Syrian opposition

This week’s guest is Sheikh Adel al-Mouawda, member of the Shura Council in Bahrain.
He talks about his meeting with members of the armed Syrian opposition on the Turkish-Syrian borders in 2012, explaining that what he is doing is to support the Syrian people and is strictly limited to humanitarian relief projects. Bahraini parliamentary speaks about the efforts being deployed by his country to prevent the brainwashed people from going to Syria. Regarding the situation inside Bahrain, he says that “the Shiites have the right to have legitimate living and political demands as long as they express their needs peacefully and legitimately.” Regarding the democracy, he believes that “this experience in the Arab world is lame because of its misconception”.
