Former US senator and chairman of the United Against Nuclear Iran (UANI), Joseph Lieberman, told Al Arabiya on the sidelines of the Iranian opposition conference in Paris that King Salman was leading the Arabs to confront Iranian terrorism in the region.
“We have a new administration completely different from the previous administration - which has made every effort to help the Iranian regime and strengthen relations with Iran,” Lieberman said.
“President Trump specifically said that the biggest threat to America and the region is the Iranian regime,” he said.
“King Salman is leading the Arab world to confront Iranian threats in the region and focuses on confronting Iranian terrorism,” said the chairman of the United Against Nuclear Iran.
Lieberman said US President Donald Trump believed Iran was a key threat to the United States and its allies in the region.
