IN PICTURES: 87-year-old Ottoman prince is finally allowed to live in Turkey
Ottoman prince Dundar Abdul Karim Othman Oglu, one of the last living members of the Ottoman dynasty, arrived in Turkish territory this week after the government approved his move from the Syrian capital of Damascus.
The 87-year-old Ottoman prince was transferred across Lebanese territory after his family asked local authorities to bring him to Istanbul.
Dundar is considered one of the members of the ruling Ottoman family, who were exiled after the end of Ottoman rule in 1924.
Dundar is associated with the famous Ottoman Sultan Abdul Hamid II, whose grandson is Sultan Shahzada Mohammed Salim Effendi.
