After nearly 11 years of hard work to fulfil his Bachelors, Masters and Doctorate degree, Saudi expat in the US, Fares al-Salameh, suddenly died of natural causes just before returning to Saudi Arabia.
Salameh was sent on a scholarship to complete his higher education in the US by Majmaah University in Saudi Arabia. Salameh pursued the field of Computer Science.
The Saudi Cultureal Attaché in the US, Dr. Mohammed al-Essa, said that Fares died of natural causes as there were no criminal suspicion.
Essa said that preparations had begun to transport Salameh’s body back to Saudi Arabia, specifically to the city of Bareeda.
Saleh al-Salameh, Feras’ brother, said that his brother had been away for 11 years to complete his educational journey and during that time his mother also passed away at which time Feras was unable to return to the kingdom.
