Riyadh - Hours separate Saudi women from the historic day when they will officially be able to drive their own cars.
In the lead up to June 24, awareness-raising activities have been increasing in a number of Saudi cities. The General Directorate of Traffic conducted the three-day introductory driving event across four cities in the Kingdom that ends on Saturday.
The event dubbed “Tawakali Wa Intaliqi” (Trust in God and Drive) in Jeddah, Riyadh, Dammam and Tabuk combines entertainment with informative guidelines to future female drivers.
