Theeb and Jasser: From Najran to the Chicopee River

On July 29, two young Saudi men, Theeb and Jasser, lost their lives after heroically rescuing two American children who drowning in the choppy waters of the Chicopee River in Massachusetts.

This film meets with one of the surviving children’s relatives, and the American professors of the Theeb and Jasser to find out more about the lost young souls last year in the United States.

For the first time as well, Theeb and Jasser’s parents and relatives from the al-Yami and al-Rakah tribes of Najran speak with Al Arabiya English to highlight how and why their sons were quick to jump into the water to save others.
