Egypt's heartthrob stars in Sydney's Arab Music Festival

He's one of the best-selling Middle Eastern recording artists of all time, legendary Amr Diab will feature in Australia's biggest Arabic Music Festival in Sydney.

With an extraordinary 20-year career, headline act Diab reigns as the contemporary face of Egyptian pop music with sell out performances around the globe.



The Egyptian heartthrob has also taken the western world by storm, appearing in Pepsi commercials alongside the likes of American pop icons j-Lo and Beyonce.

Organizers said the event will have a five-hour programme set up which include both music and dance performances.

Set to take place on Feb 2. 2013 in ANZ Stadium the festival organizers said it will also include "local and international representatives of Sydney's vibrant Middle Eastern Community."
