Saudi Arabia invests millions in school safety programs
The investments aim to provide safety programs and equipment
Saudi Minister of Education Prince Khaled Al-Faisal has earmarked SR800 million ($213 mln) for safety programs and equipment for the Kingdom’s schools.
All schools will be supplied with state-of-the-art equipment to ensure the safety and well-being of students.
A new protection program, which operates without electricity, will be installed in all schools to detect and douse any fires that break out.
The school safety department at the ministry has exerted great efforts this year to implement several educational programs and raise student awareness on how to avoid fire accidents.
The department is working on preparing an electricity protection program for schools all over the Kingdom.
